Christmas Tutorial by DT Member Sylvia Bickerdike

As the big day draws closer we have another fabby tutorial by one of our crafty creative Design Team! This time it's from Sylvia Bickerdike. Why not check out Sylvia's blog for more inspirational projects!

So without any fyrther waffle from me! Here's over to Sylvia!

Here is my tutorial for making a large Christmas bauble. I used to make these with the children at school nearly 30 years ago. Back then we used old Christmas cards to make them.
You will need 20 circles. I have used the borderless circle toppers from the 12 Days of Christmas CD.

Cut out the circles or you could use a punch or die if you have the right size.

Now you need a triangular piece of thick card to score round. This needs to be an equilateral triangle.

Score around the triangle on all the circles and fold sides upwards.

Stick 5 pieces together and another 5 pieces together.

To one set add 10 pieces sticking as you go.

Thread ribbon through and knot it inside to make a hanger before sticking on the bottom section.

Hope you like my decoration.
Great for keeping the children occupied in the days before Santa comes.
