Mike's Father's Day Step by Step Tutorial

Good morning Crafty Peeps

This is my card I've made for Father's Day this year. I'm really pleased with how it's turned out, it's fairly basic and simple to construct, but at the same time looks really sophisticated. Well, I think so anyway!

Materials Used:
2xA4 sheets Stampin Up Rich Razzleberry cardstock
Kraftyhands Man About Town CD Rom
Marianne Design Creatables Die Anja's Square (LR0242)
Foam Pads or 3D Gel Glue Adhesive
Craft Knife or Scissors
Die cutting machine such as a BigShot or Ebosser
Burgundy or brown silk ribbon (approx 12mm width)
Self Adhesive pearls or rhinestones

Step by Step:

1. Cut one of your A4 sheet of Rich Razzleberry cardstock to 148mm x 297mm. Score and fold in the middle to create your base card. You can make this card a normal opening card or a tent card, the choice is yours.

2. From the Kraftyhands Man About Town CD Rom, print any of the 6x6 bonus distressed backing papers of your choice. I chose sheet 2 from page 5. Cut out and adhere to the front of your card.

3. Using the 2nd sheet of Rich Razzleberry card stock cut a panel approx 120mm x 120mm and using your Marianne die run it through your die cutting machine to create your lacy panel. Adhere to the top left hand corner of your card front.

4. From the Kraftyhands Man About Town CD Rom print your chosen topper from the toppers section. For this card I have chosen topper 2 from page 10. Cut out and adhere to the front of your lacy panel using foam pads or 3D gel glue.

5. From the Kraftyhands Man About Town CD Rom print out a sheet of 15mm Alphabet Tiles and cut out the letters that spell out the word "FATHER".  I have chosen set 3 from page 3. Using 3D gel glue or foam pads adhere the letters to the right hand side of your card front.

6. Using your burgundy or brown silk ribbon, tie a bow or knot and adhere to the bottom left of your lacy frame panel as an extra embellishment. You may add extra embellishments such as pearls or rhinestones if you wish to further enhance your card project.

And that, as they say, is that! Job done.
Thanks for stopping by!
