DT Call - Norman Needs YOU!

We're opening up our DT again, this time we're looking for 6 to 10 people to join our design teams.

We're looking for people to join our existing DT (team 1) to help with creating samples for and participating in our blog challenges and for new release CDs and products for our website galleries.

We're also looking for a second dedicated DT (team 2) to work specifically in making samples with our new release CDs and products that we'll be taking onto Create & Craft.

Ideally you'll have experience of CD crafting and a good mix of skills with stamping, colouring and creating paper projects (not just cards!) to a high standard. Both team members will need to have their own blogs, be creative, think outside the box and have a passion for card making and paper crafts.

As a design team member you will receive one copy of all our new CDs before the launch date, plus any new products that we'd like you to incorporate such as charms and embellishments, plus free entrance to shows all over the country that we are exhibiting at.

In return all we ask is that you create and send us good quality card samples from resources we send to you FOC within a given deadline and where necessary (team 1), to participate in the blog challenges as prescribed.

If you're interested in joining one of our teams, please email info@kraftyhands.co.uk with a short bio, a clear head and shoulders photo of yourself and photos of at least 3 projects you're proud of and please state which of the two teams you'd like to work with.

That's it. Good Luck!

Another Show Done!

It's really surprising just how quickly an hour goes! No sooner had we said hello to Debbie Shore we were saying goodbye!

Our hour on Create & Craft this morning went really well, if you discount the gremlins that were plaguing the studio today, not only were they having massive technical issues with their email, as in not getting any, but also with their computer system. The computers in the studios are all linked to their master computer and that's where the two discs we were demonstrating were held! So that's why the discs didn't run as they should. We totally lost connection at one point!

Anyway, that aside, the show went really well, Ian managed to muscle in on most of the card making demos and I didn't get a chance to make a single card!

We did bump into some old mates in the green room though, Jo Channon, Mel Heaton, Rob Adams and Sara Davis were all taking it easy back stage, so we had chance for a lot of catch up and gossip over coffee and biscuits!

We finally left Create & Craft about 1pm and headed off home back up the A1 singing along to Christmas carols at the top of our voices!

We were going to sit and watch the repeat tonight at 11pm but it got cancelled! Obviously we'd sold out on most of the stock so there was no point in running the repeat!

All in all a good day!
Mike

Well Done Lorraine!

Kraftyhands regular, Lorraine Unwin has done us proud by raising £1166.44 for Woking Hospice.

Lorraine tirelessly works to create cards to sell, to raise money for this very worth while cause all year round and we donated some card making resources to her earlier in the year.

It just goes to show that one person can make a difference and we wish there were more people out there like Lorraine who care enough to give up their time and energy to raise money for such worth while causes like this one.

Once again, well done Lorraine! You are a true Kraftyhands Star!

A Crafty Touch - Darlington

Well, what a fun day we had on Saturday at a Crafty Touch in Darlington. Franki and her ladies really made us feel welcome and we had lots of laughs 'n' giggles all day. It was the first time we'd been able to make it up to Darlington and we're glad we went.
All the lovely ladies enjoyed themselves so much, they've all rebooked again for when we go back again in February (23rd!) Can't be bad eh!
